The Lotus Sutra

The Lotus Sutra contains the words and teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha and is one of the most important and influential of the Mahayana Sutras.   The sutra teaches that all people can awaken to their true nature and attain Enlightenment by following the bodhisattva path.

This retreat will continue our studies of the Lotus Sutra from last year and will be a combination of teachings, discussion and practice. All are welcome! It is hosted by the sangha in Santa Barbara, CA and for more information please contact Susie at emid@emidsb.org
