A retreat on a classic meditation text Visuddhimagga or The Path of Purification composed by Bhadanta Buddhaghosha in early half of 5th century CE.

Meditation on the 32-Parts of the Body.  This ancient meditation method is still practiced in Burma and was a favorite teaching by the forest monk the late Very Venerable Taungpulu Tawya Kaba-Aye Sayadaw.  Happiness and healing, for example, are among the outcomes of this meditation if practiced regularly.  In this retreat we learned this special method of contemplation which leads to new ways of experiencing the mind-body relationship, and confirms Buddha’s declaration, “Within this fathom long body with its thoughts and emotions, I declare the world, the origin of the world, the cessation of the world, and the path leading to the cessation of the world.”
