Bodhimarga facilitates retreats in the USA designed to deepen the understanding and experience of Buddhist practice.  We encourage and appreciate your participation.

A retreat is an opportunity to step away from the commotion of daily life and return to one’s “core”.  It is a contemplative exploration of one’s mind, and prepares one to re-engage with the world in a more meaningful way. Most retreats led by the Venerable Tenzin Priyadarshi are appropriate for students of all levels.

Bodhimarga retreat attendance is by suggested donation.  Retreat sponsorship opportunities are available when you register, to help  cover venue rentals, teacher airfare and accommodations and other associated fees and costs.  Attendees can make dana (generosity) offerings to the teacher on site, as well. Retreatants with limited means to attend one-day retreats are encouraged to donate according to their capacity or inquire about scholarship opportunities.

Local Study Circles are encouraged to gather monthly for calm abiding practice and quarterly regional sangha retreats may also be organized.  Please contact your area Study Circle Host for more information about practice, retreats and community service.

Our Prayer Book for Retreats and Teaching sessions is available for download here.

Special Events include virtual gatherings, public lectures, interfaith forums, and Buddhist celebrations.  Bodhimarga is happy to include in our listings some privately sponsored events with our spiritual director, the Venerable Tenzin Priyadarshi.
