Retreat Dates: Feb 22-24 2013
Retreat Location: Riverwalk Hall in downtown Edwards
Description: The Dhammapada is the most beloved and widely read of the Buddhist scriptures, enjoyed by Buddhists and non-Buddhists, alike. This classic collection of 423 short verses from the Sutta-pitaka, part of the Pali Canon, captures the philosophical and practical essence of the Buddha’s teachings. Simple, yet deeply profound, these teachings describe how ones’ choices and actions determine future happiness. During this retreat we will contemplate how these insightful verses demonstrate the power of the human mind in shaping our lives. Everyone is welcome to attend one or both days.
